At Yediot Aharonot we saw how newspapers are printed every day. We saw a movie about the journalists. One of them was hurt in the Georgia/Russia war. After the movie we saw newspapers from all the years. We went to a computer room and there we tried to build the front page of the newspaper in a very short time. After that we went to the paper storage area. There were a lot of huge rolls of heavy paper that come from other countries. Then we saw the printing machine. The guide told us how the print machine works, and if the parts of the newspaper aren’t printed well it is sent to be recycled - they make notebooks, books, and other things from this paper. The tour was good fun. I very highly recommend going to Yediot Aharonot for the tour.

In my opinion, the trip to Yediot Achronot was a very educational and interesting experience to see how a real newspaper works. It was educational because we had the ability to interact with the computers to create a front page with a headline. I also liked the fact that all of the paper comes from different countries and most of it is recycled. Overall it was a great time and I hope everyone learned something.

The trip to Yedioth Ahronoth factory in Rishon Lezion was great fun and interesting. I enjoyed seeing the place and the machines in it. We were also editors for a quarter of an hour and designed the front page of the paper and it made me appreciate their work and contribution to the paper. On the wall of the press room, there were previous and important newspapers, and it has taught me the history in the world through the development of Yediot Ahronoth.

Last week we visited Yediot Ahronot. What a great experience!!! It is a huge place. We saw the whole process of making a newspaper. We saw from the beginning the vast amount of paper you need to produce a newspaper through the printing process, till it is completed and ready to be distributed.
The most important part of the newspaper is the content. We had the experience of deciding what will be on the front page and we had only 4 minutes to do it. It was hard but fun. Thank you for this wonderful trip.

The visit was about designing, making and printing of newspapers. I was amazed about the enormity of the whole process. I was very happy to learn that 75% of the paper is recycled. It was very interesting to find out what goes on behind the scene. I didn’t realize that the journalists are under so much pressure to reach the deadline.
I learned a lot about the method of making a newspaper and came away with a lot of knowledge about it all.
