In addition, according to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, sport decreases the chance of having high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
Furthermore, while doing physical activities, the brain releases neurotransmitters, the chemicals that create euphoric feelings and reduce stress.

However, sport can affect our health in a negative way: it can cause hard injuries to the body. Injuries can also cause depression, frustration and loss of confidence because the athletes cannot do what they like. Injuries can recur so the athletes are scared to over-exercise.
When athletes lose in sports competitions, there is a bigger chance that they will become violent and angry. Sport can cause competition between players which makes them stressed.
